What is “Latgale Brand Conversations”?

“"Latgale Brand Conversations" is a video podcast created by Sistering, in which in each episode, one Latgale entrepreneur tells how they practically create their public communication: what channels they use, who creates the content, how much time and resources they devote to it, and what has worked best.

The series consists of six episodes. Each is dedicated to one specific area of branding – from brand storytelling to personal branding and B2B communication, so that entrepreneurs from different industries can find an example that suits them.

Why did this broadcast come about?

The belief in the regions still prevails that visibility can only be bought with a large budget. In practice, the result is determined not by the size of the budget, but by consistency and deliberate work in the long term.

The data backs this up. According to a study by Lucidpress (Marq) that surveyed over 400 brand management professionals, consistent brand presence across all channels is associated with up to 231% revenue growth. The investment is not a one-time campaign, but a systematic effort that pays off over time.

“Latgale Brand Conversations” shows how small and medium-sized brands do this work step by step, often on their own. The goal is practical: to show that time and money invested in communication pays off.

Episode One: Ārdava Manor and the Brand Story

The first episode focuses on the foundation of branding, the brand story as the central element of communication. It's about how the story of the person behind the brand becomes what is remembered and builds trust.

In the conversation, we visit the Ārdava Manor in Preiļi region, where Maija and Jēimijs farm. The 19th-century manor stood empty for decades until the couple purchased it and are gradually reviving it, creating a café and a meeting place with local souvenirs. The story of the manor's revival is a vivid example of how an authentic story becomes the basis of brand communication.
