Sistering is developing a new trademark – “True from Ludza region”

Sistering has developed the new Ludza region trademark “EISTS from Ludza region”, which will serve as a visual confirmation of products and services created in the region. This sign will help local manufacturers, craftsmen and entrepreneurs proudly indicate their place of origin and unite under a single symbol of quality and reliability.

The sign is not just a graphic element - it is a story, a feeling, and a message that continues the brand identity of the Ludza region.

“When developing the Ludza region trademark, our main goal was to create a symbol that is both authentic and easily recognizable, and closely related to the region’s existing brand. The key phrase “Created in Ludza region” acquired a new form that corresponds to the local identity – “EISTS from Ludza region”. Taking into account the recommendations of Ludza region representatives, the logo was supplemented with an explanation of the word in Latvian – ĪSTS, to ensure an equally understandable message for a wider audience.”

“The chosen slogan naturally resonates with the core of the Ludza region brand – “Everyone is on their own!”, thus creating a unified and recognizable communication for both the region's residents and guests. The design solutions deliberately use the colors of the Ludza region's visual identity guidelines to strengthen the connection with the overall image of the brand.”

“The trademark is not just a graphic element – it is a quality mark that local producers, craftsmen and entrepreneurs will be able to use with pride. It confirms that what they create is genuine, local and valuable, while strengthening the recognition and credibility of the Ludza region brand.”

How did “Īsts no Ludza novadas” come about?

During the logo development process, our team worked closely with the representatives of the Ludza region to create an identity that not only fits into the existing visual system, but also truly reflects the spirit of the region. It is the local language, authenticity, and pride in one's place.

The sign uses the colors of the Ludza brand, keywords that create recognition, and a communication structure that will be equally understandable to both local residents and guests.
